Sage Publishing announced on 9 December 2024 that it was the first publisher to adopt Dimensions Author Check, a research integrity tool from Digital Science. The tool reviews a researcher’s publication history and networks and uses an extensive dataset to flag unusual activity, such as indicators of paper mill involvement, that may need further investigation.
