Authortegrity is a certification service for books written by humans. An AI analysis first compares the content of the manuscript with the author’s familiarity with that content, and the service says it allows AI-assisted writing but is designed to prevent certification of fully or extensively AI-generated work. A team then reviews the results and, if needed, holds a video interview with the author, and books that pass all stages receive the certification. Books published before October 2022, according to the ISBN database, can be authenticated automatically, free of charge.
