Clara is the AI data steward in Frontiers’ FAIR² Data Management service, which is powered by Senscience, a Frontiers AI venture. Researchers upload a dataset with its supporting files, and Clara helps them prepare the metadata and the description of their methods. One submission produces a peer-reviewed FAIR² Data Article, an interactive data portal and a certified data package. Frontiers ran the service as a pilot from March 2025 and launched it fully in October 2025.
