ReviewerZero is an integrity checking service for manuscripts and published papers, from ReviewerZero AI, a company based in Boulder, Colorado, which Daniel Acuña of the University of Colorado Boulder founded in 2023. Its site lists 12 areas and more than 65 checks, including author verification, figure integrity, statistical validation, reference validation, AI text detection, plagiarism detection, replicability assessment, AI peer review, submission compliance and review quality, and it names publishers, research integrity offices and R&D teams as users. Karger Publishers announced a partnership in September 2025 that gives its research integrity and publication ethics team access to the full ReviewerZero suite. ReviewerZero lists partnerships with the STM Integrity Hub and ScholarOne Manuscripts, and Journal Monitor, which scores integrity risk for each journal, is in early access.
