pure.science is a platform from Pure Science, founded by Adam Hyde, on which publishers build workflows with AI agents, including teams of agents with separate roles that coordinate a task, alongside human users. Pure Science officially launched it at Academic Publishing Europe in January 2026, where it won the Startups to Watch competition, and in May 2026 it introduced PureBooks, an authoring environment for book publishers built on the platform.
