DocuMark is a tool for universities from Trinka AI, powered by Enago, which Enago announced on 19 May 2025. Students review the AI-assisted parts of their work before submitting, reflect on their AI use and declare it, and DocuMark records the writing process, including revisions, student contributions and declared AI usage. Educators see effort scores, ownership scores and revision insights, with a video playback of how an assignment was written, and cited links are checked and labelled as verified, unverified or unreachable. It works in Trinka Cloud, Microsoft Word and Google Docs, and integrates with learning management systems.
Benefits & outcomes
- Trinka reports that in a Spring 2026 pilot in an honours seminar at Oklahoma State University, every surveyed student who wrote in DocuMark had at least slight concern about being falsely accused of AI misuse before the pilot, and 37.5% had no concern during it.
Notes & quotes
- “If I were teaching writing, I would have all the drafting done in DocuMark.” Chris Rosser, First Year and Transfer Experience Librarian at Oklahoma State University, who ran the pilot.
