Eureka is MDPI’s reviewer recommender. It uses natural language processing and machine learning to extract the core concepts and themes from a manuscript’s title and abstract, searches for comparable previously published articles and reviews, and extracts potential reviewers with extensive publication records in the field from MDPI’s internal databases, which it shows in a dashboard. MDPI described it in a blog post for Peer Review Week 2024.
