In 2021 Karger Publishers offered authors submitting to 14 of its journals the chance to have their manuscript checked by Writefull’s automated language proofreading before submitting it. Authors who took up the offer got their manuscript back with suggested language edits in Track Changes, which they could accept, reject or change. Writefull’s language models were developed using published journal papers.
