Rubriq (formerly Curie)

Rubriq is an AI editing and translation tool for academic writing, aimed particularly at researchers whose first language is not English. Springer Nature launched it as Curie in October 2023. Curie used large language models together with editing models that Springer Nature trained on academic literature and on more than a million edits to published papers. MPS Limited bought American Journal Experts (AJE), including Curie, from Springer Nature in February 2024, and the tool has since been renamed Rubriq. AJE sells Rubriq directly to researchers, and HighWire Press offers it to publishers and universities.
